Jay Evans is running for Harford County Council to bring common-sense leadership, respectful dialogue, and practical solutions back to local government.

A Christian, husband, father, and business leader, Jay believes leadership is about service — listening to people, treating others with respect, and working together to strengthen the community we share.
 

Jay grew up in Kingsville, Maryland, and has spent most of his adult life in Harford County, living in Abingdon, Churchville, Fallston, and now Forest Hill. Having lived in multiple areas of the county, he understands the unique challenges and priorities facing communities across Harford County’s council districts.
 

Like many residents, Jay is tired of the bickering and division that too often dominate politics. He believes the best way forward for Harford County is through decency, compromise, and collaboration - bringing people together to solve problems and move our community forward.
 

Guided by his faith, family, and commitment to community, Jay is running to help ensure Harford County remains a place where families can thrive, businesses can grow, and the farmland and open spaces that define our county are protected.
